Retigo Beer Day 2025

You came, you saw, you experienced Retigo LIVE!

Now in its 2nd year the Retigo Beer Day returned to the Czech Embassy in London on 4th September 2025.

In collaboration with Czech Trade UK and Czech brewers, we hosted a day packed with food, entertainment and innovation for over 300 guests, making it our largest event yet!

The morning program was dedicated to our valued distribution partners.

An exclusive partners meeting took place where we shared the latest innovations, updates and plans for the UK market. Highlights included the unveiling of the new Retigo logo and strapline; “Heart of the Professional Kitchen”, introducing “The Mad Chef”; an exciting new concept from Retigo UK (watch this space for more on that!) and our Distributor Awards.

Then followed a private hour for distributors to network and enjoy some Czech hospitality.

It was the perfect start to a day dedicated to partnership and growth!

The afternoon session began with the arrival of the wider catering community, including representatives from ceda and the FCSI, and end users from the hotel, pub and restaurant sectors. Industry trainer Carl Hutchings, celebrity chef and our brand ambassador, Dipna Anand, and press such as Czech TV and Forbes, were also in attendance.

The atmosphere was full of energy as delegates experienced Retigo LIVE! They were able to connect with every side of the business including the technical division, sales and customer service teams and, of course, the culinary masters that are the Retigo chefs!

Guests were treated to live cooking demos throughout the day that saw our chefs serve deep filled pies for lunch, pizza and our now synonymous Funky Fries – made with truffle oil and parmesan cheese – and a full hog roast in the evening. All made in Retigo combi ovens, showcasing their full capabilities and versatility.

Whilst showcasing each aspect of our own business, we were keen for other Czech businesses to shine. The UK is a significant market for Czech breweries and nine of them (Primator, Kutná Hora, PIVOVAR CVIKOV, A.S., Lucky Bastard, Holba, Bohemia Regent, Sibeeria Brewery, Jarošovský pivovar a.s. and Permon.) were invited to pour their beers to our delighted guests.

Martin Macourek of the Czech Beer Alliance also gave a masterclass in the famous Czech pour!

Guests could also sample and purchase New Forest Shortbread, made in our confectionary oven.

The blend of business networking and entertainment continued with Czech saxophonist and DJ Radim Nowak, and stilt performers Duck the Beat Entertainment. There were also garden games and a prize draw.

The event truly brought together Czech engineering and hospitality in a unique way!

Aneta Juroskova, Managing Director of Retigo UK was delighted with the turnout and feedback from the day. She said "We were extremely delighted to welcome over 300 people at our event. The feedback we've been getting is incredible and far above our expectations. It was a successful and invaluable event for business professionals in our industry which is something I am very proud of.

“I would like to thank my amazing team, Czech Trade, the Czech brewers and all our suppliers who helped organise the event and everyone involved - we couldn't have done it without you! And, of course, a big thank you to every one of our partners and customers, consultants and other business professionals who attended for your support and enthusiasm for Retigo! We were delighted to share our latest innovations and connect with you all."

We can’t wait for you to see what’s next for Retigo!
