Evolution launches in the UK at HRC 2026

Fresh for the exhibition hall of London’s Excel, Retigo’s new generation ovens are here!

Retigo Evolution was unveiled to the UK market at HRC last week. With over 30 improvements on the previous models, the new range brings new technology and innovation, higher quality materials, integrated AI and more.

The launch was the talk of the show with visitors flocking to Retigo’s stand for a first look at the UK’s latest combi oven. Retigo’s teams were out in force with the chef and tech teams providing demos and answering questions, and the sales team filling up the order book.

On Day 1 we were delighted to welcome back Retigo UK Brand Ambassador, Dipna Anand, as she treated visitors to our stand to her famous butter chicken, cooked to perfection in the new Retigo Evolution oven. The stand was busy all day with visitors keen to see our new combi ovens in action.

The excitement continued into Day 2 with a jam-packed programme, cumulating in an exclusive after-hours Evolution launch event for Retigo UK’s Distributors and Partners. Marcel Vican, Retigo Sales and Marketing Director, joined us from the Czech Republic. He told the audience that Retigo is listening. Listening to chefs, to technical and service managers, to sales teams, to customers. He said innovation wasn’t for the sake of innovation, but for the real benefit of chefs. That what we’re doing isn’t just technology; it’s trust. The Mad Chef team treated our Partners to Salt Beef Bagels and Truffle & Parmesan chips during the event. And, now synonymous with any Retigo event, plenty of Czech beer was also enjoyed alongside the food and fayre of the Retigo stand, courtesy of our friend Martin Macourek of the Czech Beer Alliance.

Throughout the 3 days, our stand was a hive of activity with our Tech and Sales teams busily answering questions and providing demos of the new Evolution ovens. Technical Manager, Mike Griffiths, led numerous product presentations and discussed the new features and benefits. The Sales and Customer Service teams, led by Craig Barnett and Chris Birch taking enquiries, orders and lots of wonderful feedback!

Our chefs, Samuel Ashton, Danny Burns and Ondrej Vlcek, delighted the crowds, showcasing the versatility of the Evolution ovens and their ability to steam, smoke or bake a variety of dishes to perfection. They served Artisan Morning Pastries, 28-Day Aged Sirloin Steak, Panko-Crusted Sweet Chilli King Prawns, our now famous Truffle & Parmesan Chunky Chips and Sourdough Artisan Pizzas, amongst other mouthwatering dishes. The prawns were a particular success with our guests, who were wowed with how crispy the panko breadcrumbs were from our ovens!
